The Quantic Soul Orchestra, is a live affair. A group of highly talented players, the Q.S.O pays homage to the funk explosion of the early Seventies.

Putting something back is how Will Holland described the reason for starting The Quantic Soul Orchestra. Super 8 was the first 7 release (and now sells for big bucks on Ebay like an original 70s funk 45). A CDR of it was played by Robert Luis when DJ;ing with Quantic in Brighton and the crowd reaction to it was instant. We subsequently passed a CDR to Mr Scruff so by the time it was actually on vinyl there was a huge demand for it.

The success of this release lead to the QSO becoming a full time act in its own right. The Stampede album took the Deep Funk sound of the early 21st Century to a much wider audience with no compromise on quality&this was rough and raw!

The second album Pushin On further cemented the reputation of the QSO and by now the live band where playing to literally thousands of people at festivals and clubs across the world.
